Welcome to Healing Soul Flow, where I aim to make yoga purposeful and accessible to all bodies.  I specialize in Gentle and Restorative Yoga practices.  Gentle Yoga uses slow, easy movement and an emphasis on breathing to guide you into a closer connection with yourself and the world. The focus is to release stress with gentle stretching. This class is appropriate for students of all levels and ages, including beginners, seniors, and those with injuries. Restorative Yoga is a restful practice that holds yoga poses longer using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. It is a practice of deep relaxation that highlights the meditative aspect of yoga—the yoke of body and mind. Through props for support, many of the postures are held almost effortlessly. About Me

Yoga for the Mind and Body

Welcome to my yoga journey! My name is Kristen, and I am a certified yoga instructor with over 3 years of experience. My passion for yoga began 10 years ago when I attended my first class and immediately felt a deep connection to the practice.

I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Allison Sobel and Kate Goodyear of Svadhyaya, during which time I immersed myself in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga yoga. My training taught me a profound understanding of yoga's physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. My teaching is also influenced by additional certifications in Restorative Yoga.

In my classes, I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all levels of practitioners. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced yogi, I aim to help you explore your edge, find balance, and deepen your practice. I emphasize mindful movement, breath awareness, and alignment, ensuring that each session leaves you feeling rejuvenated and centered.

Beyond the studio, I continue to expand my knowledge through workshops, retreats, and self-study. I believe in the lifelong journey of learning and growing, both on and off the mat. Yoga has transformed my life in countless ways, and I am dedicated to sharing this transformative practice with others.

When I'm not teaching, I am reading, walking, gardening, and traveling. I am always seeking new inspirations and experiences to share with my students.
